Many sports players are unaware that simply wearing a protective mouthguard can stop them from obtaining a significant and preventable dental injury.

All sports, regardless of whether they are contact sports such as boxing, AFL and rugby union, as well as non-contact sports including cricket, basketball and soccer, can cause damage to your teeth and mouth.

Custom mouthguards can help protect you from:

We’ve changed suppliers for our mouthguards, which means we have new mouthguard colours to choose from. We’re so excited to start using them! Custom colours are also available, including multicoloured and multidimensional. These new mouthguards are 5mm thick, which is top protection for your teeth for any sport you play.

Custom mouthguards vs. over the counter

Over the counter mouthguards have given all mouthguards in general a bad reputation because they are uncomfortable, loose fitting and restrict talking and breathing. Even worse, they are not good at protecting your teeth and jaw upon impact.

However, custom fitted mouthguards are the complete opposite. As they are an exact replica and custom fitted, they help to absorb and spread the impact, which reduces the damage caused.
